Inspiration begins with attention.

An idea is explored until its distinctive qualities begin to emerge — perhaps through colour, rhythm, form, texture or movement. Those qualities then find a visual expression of their own.

This is how a thought can travel from something observed or remembered into something tangible: a design that can eventually be worn.

The Last Echo draws from stories connected with extinct species, interpreting each through an individual visual language. The scale and movement associated with the Woolly Mammoth take one direction. The distinctive stripes of the Thylacine suggest another. The colour and social presence of the Carolina Parakeet open yet another visual possibility.

Whispers of Existence looks elsewhere. Its stories emerge from quieter ideas — light, trace, movement, stillness and the subtle forms of presence around us.

Each begins differently because each has something different to express.

And then, it becomes personal

A design may begin with our story. Its next chapter belongs to the woman who chooses it.

She may be drawn to a colour before she knows its inspiration. She may notice the movement of the fabric, the composition of a motif or simply the feeling the piece creates when she wears it.

Later, it may become connected with a celebration, a journey, an ordinary afternoon or a memory entirely her own. The original story remains. And another begins with her.
